Pass Wide and Slow Group Ride (19th September)

Pass Wide and Slow (PWAS) is a national event organised by a network of horse riders. On the 19th September they are organising group rides to convey the message to motorists that they need to slow down and give a wide berth. Of course, cyclists are vulnerable road users as well, and support the spreading of this message.

Cyclists have been invited to join the BD17 edition of the event, which will happen in low Baildon, go up Hollins Hill and proceed into Esholt.

We will be leaving City Park at 9.30am to meet up with horse riders at Sapper Jordan Rossi Park, Otley Road, BD17 7AX, Baildon at 10.30am where we will ride with them to Esholt.  Several of the riders will then be riding over to Ilkley for events that are happening there as part of Car Free Day.
