Capital of Cycling In collaboration with West Yorkshire Combined Authority and the Active Travel Social Prescribing Team at Bradford MDC, we’re pleased to be starting delivery of Keighley Health Rides.
These cycling sessions are open to anyone who wants to improve their mental or physical health. Even if you’ve never been on a bike, our instructors will teach you the basics and help you on your way to improving your health through cycling.
Bikes and helmets will be provided and sessions will be held in a safe, controlled space.
We will take things at your pace and promise friendly support within a small group. Two instructors are available so the option of longer rides is available to those who want to undertake them.

I noticed you got a little spot in Airedale centre in Keighley and I’m just wondering if we could sort some kind of set up for teaching basic maintenance to the community .

For past 13 months plus I do bicycle maintenance from home .
Just wondering if you can offer some kind of support as I also teach cycling to younger generation

Sounds like it would be great to chat. We have indeed taken on a unit in Keighley and are working with community groups to support opportunities for cycling and maintenance.
